On Windows 11, S mode is supported only on the Home edition. It limits app installations through Windows Store only, for safety and stability of the OS. Even though it offers most of the features from Home or Pro edition, it does not allow users to run desktop applications. Windows 11/10 in S Mode uses apps exclusively from the Windows Store. Windows in S Mode is a streamlined version of Windows that is optimized for security and performance. Please keep in mind that once you do so you CANNOT revert back to S mode. You CAN, take your device out of S mode to run the standard Norton applications.
In the app click the gear icon shown below and review options there. It is available ONLY on the Windows 11 store. The app is "streamlined" meaning it doesn't have the same functionality as a standard version.
